Fall Engagement Shoot - NJ Wedding Photography

Although Lisa and Rob were admittedly nervous about portrait taking, they were absolutely a pleasure to photograph!  We strolled around Allaire State Park on a beautiful fall evening when the light was warm and the colors were soft.   I think these are some of my favorite portraits from all season.

Really enjoyed shooting these engagement portraits with Wendy and David a few weeks ago.  We went apple picking at a local orchard and found some pretty meadows out in Western Monmouth... one of the prettiest areas in New Jersey.

 Earlier this spring I had the pleasure of working for singer Josh Groban as he prepared for his upcoming tour.   The 'Straight to You' tour is no small undertaking in either artistic vision or production.  With 2 stages, 13 musicians, and cutting edge sound and video, there was a lot to photograph!  The first leg of the shoot was in LA, where I covered rehearsals and the second leg was in New Orleans, where I shot production rehearsals and the opening show of the tour.

Beth and Sean's Meadowy Portraits

We had just a few moments to capture these portraits before the rain poured down, but I'm so thankful we got in a few.  The meadow is located next to St Roberts Church in Freehold and epitomizes the pastoral beauty of Western Monmouth County.  Despite the limo driver insisting I had chosen the wrong spot, I think these are my favorite shots from the day....

Jen and Frank's Classic Red Bank Wedding!

Sailboats and Starfish!

Jen and Frank planned a lovely Spring wedding in downtown Red Bank.  The day's nautical theme fit right in with the riverfront backdrop of the Molly Pitcher Inn.  Navy bridesmaid dresses and classic details gave the wedding a formal, but lighthearted atmosphere.  Highlights of the party included fresh mojitos, comical poetry renditions, and some very lively Lebanese drumming and dancing.
