    I'm starting the new year by posting one of my favorite weddings from 2014.  Sandra and Jacob planned a beautiful early September wedding at Jersey City's Liberty House.  We started the day at the nearby Hyatt, where we photographed the bride and groom's preparations along with many of Sandra's rustic details like her bridal cowboy boots and a charming burlap wrapped invitation.  We proceeded to the Liberty State Park waterfront for the couple's first look, followed by some stunning portraits.  Have a look...

Jersey City Hyatt Wedding ~ NJ Wedding Photography

As a wedding photographer, I see a lot of good parties and packed danced floors, but Matt and Jenn's wedding at the Hyatt Regency really took the cake! Yes, the dance floor was full the entire night, but what made it so much fun was the enthusiasm and energy of the couple and their guests. You will see a few of those choice dance moves below! The couple held their ceremony on location, which made for a seamless transition into cocktail hour. While family and friends enjoyed drinks overlooking the Hudson river and lower Manhattan, the staff and DJ put the finishing touches on the Hyatt's lovely ballroom. Lots of lush purple flowers and linens, topped with a sprinkling of bling made for the perfect amount of glam. As the evening progressed and the sun set, the beautiful NYC skyline lite up for a backdrop that just can't be topped.... have a look!
