Erin and Drew at the Molly Pitcher

It was about this time last summer that I was strolling the Asbury boardwalk with Erin and Drew for their engagement shoot.  We had a great time that evening, shooting and talking about their upcoming wedding plans as I got to know this smart, funny and easygoing couple.

Fast forward 9 months and I was arriving at the Molly Pitcher on a lovely spring morning to document their wedding day.  The details embraced a fresh palate of navy blues, pinks, and cream for a very classic style. The bouquets featured some stunning peonies with pops of white and green.  The ceremony was at Atlantic Highland's St Agnes, and for portraits we visited the beautiful gardens at Deep Cut Park.
Cocktail hour was held outside, with a soft breeze coming off the Navesink River.  Once the party moved inside, things got a little crazy on the dance floor, thanks to the B Street Band and some very lively dancers! It was quite a night.

Winter Wedding in Red Bank - NJ Wedding Photography

Alexis and Randall
Molly Pitcher Inn & St James Church ~ Red Bank, NJ

I'll admit it, winter weddings make me a little nervous.  Snowstorms, icy sidewalks, and shivering bridesmaids can make for a challenging portrait shoot, but Alexis and Randall lucked out with a beautiful 60 degree afternoon in January!
Alexis wore a delicate, vintage inspired gown by Jenny Packham that I absolutely loved.  The beaded overlay and cap sleeves gave the dress a formal feel without being fussy. In keeping with the winter season, Alexis opted not to use fresh flowers.  Instead, she incorporated shells, starfish, coral, and other sea inspired objects into the bouquets, boutonnieres, and table centerpieces.  It gave the day a winter white palette that was simple and textural.

Jen and Frank's Classic Red Bank Wedding!

Sailboats and Starfish!
Jen and Frank planned a lovely Spring wedding in downtown Red Bank.  The day's nautical theme fit right in with the riverfront backdrop of the Molly Pitcher Inn.  Navy bridesmaid dresses and classic details gave the wedding a formal, but lighthearted atmosphere.  Highlights of the party included fresh mojitos, comical poetry renditions, and some very lively Lebanese drumming and dancing.
