Birthdays from 1 to 100

This June I had the pleasure of photographing two very special birthday milestones, Delaney's 1st birthday and my own Grandmother Grace's 100th birthday.   I photographed Delaney and her parents near their home in Hoboken, NJI was completely charmed by her easy going nature and sense of humor...traits she has clearly acquired from her parents.
Just a few days later I was in Bristol, Maine with family and friends, and couldn't help snapping a few frames at my grandmother's centennial party.  She is just one of those ladies that knows how to work the camera... always poised and full of smiles.  May it be a wonderful year ahead for both Grace and Delaney!

And a few weeks later in Bristol, Maine....

Engagement Portraits on Sandy Hook ~ NJ Wedding Photographer

I don't usually make a habit of shooting portraits in winter, but this year's mild weather has been perfect for late afternoon portraits.  Last Sunday was no exception, and Sandy Hook was the perfect sunny backdrop for Jordana and Sean's engagement portraits.  We drove out to the barracks at the end of the peninsula, which offered several historic buildings and endless pretty little meadows and paths.  Here are a few of my favorites....

Orchard Enagagement Shoot * NJ Wedding Photography

Really enjoyed shooting these engagement portraits with Wendy and David a few weeks ago.  We went apple picking at a local orchard and found some pretty meadows out in Western Monmouth... one of the prettiest areas in New Jersey.

Aubrie and Michael's Outdoor Spring Wedding at the Somerset Doubletree

I will admit, the phrase 'Doubletree Hotel' doesn't immediately bring to mind quaint ponds, willow trees, and meadows. But upon arriving to photograph Aubrie and Michael's wedding at the Doubletree Hotel in Somerset, I was greeted by a lush and green landscape.  What a pleasant surprise!  Aubrie wore a vintage style lace gown with a lovely cut out back.  Michael decided to keep things casual and comfortable in Vans and polka dot socks - love it !! All together a charming couple and a charming day.... have a look.....

Morristown Engagement Portraits!

In a few weeks I'll have the honor of photographing Tiffany and Blake's wedding in Spring Lake, one of the loveliest beach towns along the New Jersey shore.   But for their engagement portraits, we decided to take advantage of the antique charm of downtown Morristown, where the couple lives.  Park benches, historic architecture, and one happy couple! Take a look . . .
