Winter Wedding in Red Bank - NJ Wedding Photography

Alexis and Randall
Molly Pitcher Inn & St James Church ~ Red Bank, NJ

I'll admit it, winter weddings make me a little nervous.  Snowstorms, icy sidewalks, and shivering bridesmaids can make for a challenging portrait shoot, but Alexis and Randall lucked out with a beautiful 60 degree afternoon in January!
Alexis wore a delicate, vintage inspired gown by Jenny Packham that I absolutely loved.  The beaded overlay and cap sleeves gave the dress a formal feel without being fussy. In keeping with the winter season, Alexis opted not to use fresh flowers.  Instead, she incorporated shells, starfish, coral, and other sea inspired objects into the bouquets, boutonnieres, and table centerpieces.  It gave the day a winter white palette that was simple and textural.

Erica and Matt's Winter Wedding

Purple is the new white....at least at this wedding!  Matt and Erica turned a snow covered January day into a purple and white wonderland full of handmade details and historic charm.  At 150 years old, David's Country Inn in Hackettstown provided a warm and cozy backdrop for friends and family to gather (and lots of cool nooks and crannies for photos)!  Matt and Erica set the tone of the reception with a hysterical & dramatic stars wars entrance and a serious party followed!   Have a look!

Jaime and Walter's Wedding in Spring Lake

It was a pleasure working with this lovely couple for their December wedding in Wall township and Spring Lake.  Walter and Jaime proved that the jersey shore is not just for summer!

Shooting in a beautiful, old house definately makes things easy!

I loved finding this old, red barn nestled in suburban New Jersey! What great color!

Who says winter is without color?
